ERA provided structural engineering services for the Village Cooperative of Erie, a 144,000 sf senior living community in Erie, CO.

Designed for active adults age 62 and older, the three-story development includes 64 single-level residences ranging from approximately 900 to 1,500 sf, along with a full underground parking level. The structural system features a post-tensioned concrete podium supporting wood-framed residential levels, with pitched wood truss roof framing. The foundation system consists of cast-in-place concrete drilled piers supporting the perimeter basement walls and columns. Cast-in-place concrete walls form the below-grade parking level, with a slab-on-grade system accommodating the building and site elevations. Community amenities include gathering and club areas, a hobby shop, guest suite, and garden plots.
