ERA provided structural engineering services for The Link @ Prospect Park, a 561,000 sf mixed-use development in Minneapolis, MN.

Completed in 2018 at a cost of $72 million, this transit-oriented project along the St. Paul/Minneapolis Green Line Light Rail combines 336 apartment units, a 360-car parking facility, a specialty grocery store, a restaurant, and 10,000 sf of retail. ERA’s design incorporated a hybrid structural approach, utilizing wood-framed construction for the low-rise apartments and post-tensioned concrete for the parking area, retail, and 13-story tower. This solution effectively addressed the diverse structural needs of this multi-functional building while optimizing construction costs. The project stands as a successful example of modern, transit-oriented urban development that seamlessly integrates residential, parking, and retail functions.
