ERA provided both engineer of record and precast specialty engineering services for the Life Time Fitness’s club and the attached tennis facility in Lakeville MN, featuring one of the largest indoor tennis complexes in North America.

The centerpiece of the project is a 100,000 sf “tennis barn” housing 12 courts with a post-tensioned concrete slab, ensuring a crack-free playing surface for optimal performance. The facility includes a 10,000 sf elevated viewing area, allowing spectators to observe matches from an ideal vantage point. Complementing the tennis focus, the project incorporates a 125,000 sf two-story attached fitness club and a 1,000 sf outdoor bistro area. This comprehensive tennis and fitness center showcases ERA’s expertise in large-scale sports facility design, drawing from our extensive experience with similar projects across the country. The Lakeville facility stands as a testament to Life Time’s commitment to providing top-tier tennis amenities within their fitness complexes.
