ERA served as structural engineer of record for the Badger Hill Brewery and Bravis Craft Mexican Kitchen project.

This 11,000-square-foot facility features a hybrid structural system that optimizes both aesthetics and cost efficiency. The design integrates exposed wood trusses in the brewery and restaurant areas with traditional steel truss construction, creating an inviting atmosphere while maintaining structural integrity. ERA’s use of pre-engineered wood trusses with increased spacing maximized ceiling heights and created an open, welcoming environment. This approach to the ceiling truss design not only enhanced the architectural impact but also generated over $250,000 in cost savings. The project’s excellence was recognized with three awards: 2023 Finance & Commerce Top Projects, 2023 Minnesota Shopping Center Association (MSCA) STARR Award, and 2024 Minnesota Construction Association (MCA) Award of Excellence.
