ERA served as the Structural Engineer of Record for HallMar Village, an innovative senior living complex in Cedar Rapids.

This collaborative project between Mercy Medical Center and Presbyterian Homes represents a significant advancement in comprehensive care facilities. The $96 million development spans 350,000 sf and offers a diverse range of living options, including 117 independent living apartments, 40 assisted living units, 20 memory care apartments, and 60 care center suites. Strategically situated in a suburban setting, HallMar Village distinguishes itself through its focus on creating dynamic, welcoming living spaces. The heart of the community is the Village Center, which serves as a hub for resident activities and social interaction. The facility offers an array of amenities, including a restaurant, bistro, salon, and spa, all designed to enhance residents’ quality of life by providing numerous opportunities for socialization, engagement, and holistic well-being.
