ERA delivered comprehensive structural engineering solutions for the landmark Wells Fargo Downtown East Towers, a transformative development in Minneapolis, MN.

These twin 17-story, 295-foot structures provide 1.2 million sf of office space, accommodating over 6,000 employees, revitalizing a previously underutilized area of downtown. The towers showcase Wells Fargo’s environmental leadership as the nation’s second-largest LEED Platinum-certified office project at completion. Energy-efficient design elements are integrated throughout both buildings. Constructed adjacent to U.S. Bank Stadium, home of the Minnesota Vikings, the project includes ERA-designed skyways connecting the towers to both the stadium and Minneapolis’ downtown skyway network. ERA collaborated with the developer and the Minnesota Sports Facilities Authority (MSFA) to engineer the development’s 6-level parking structure, as well as residential and low-rise office buildings, all part of the comprehensive $588 million five-block urban redevelopment.
