ERA provided structural engineering services for Main Street Apartments, a 105-unit, approximately 113,400 sf multifamily and mixed-use development in Hayden, CO.

Located along Main Street, the five-building community includes four three-story apartment buildings and a two-story mixed-use building with commercial space and nine residential units. The development accommodates a mix of long-term and short-term residential uses along with commercial space. The buildings utilize wood framing with prefabricated wood floor and roof trusses spanning to wood bearing and shear walls. The repetitive design of the four apartment buildings provided an efficient structural solution across the development, while the mixed-use building accommodates both residential and commercial uses. The buildings are supported on cast-in-place concrete foundation walls and conventional spread footings with slab-on-grade main levels.
