ERA served as the Structural Engineer of Record for 10 West End, a significant office development in St. Louis Park, MN.

The project comprises an 11-story, 326,000 sf office building and a 7-story parking garage accommodating 1,213 vehicles. These structures are interconnected by a skyway and a single-story enclosed loading dock area, creating a cohesive and functional complex. The office building features a composite steel frame construction with braced frames providing lateral wind resistance. Its exterior façade primarily consists of architectural precast panels and storefront glazing, balancing aesthetics with functionality. The parking garage, constructed using precast concrete, includes six supported levels and one slab-on-grade level, arranged in a 3-bay configuration. Completed in January 2021 with a construction budget of $62 million, the project demonstrates ERA’s expertise in designing large-scale, office developments. The project’s commitment to sustainability is evidenced by its LEED Silver certification. Its excellence in design and construction was further recognized when it was named one of Finance & Commerce’s Top Projects of 2021.
