- Ability to host national college and American Legion baseball tournaments and other events.
- Built on the existing foundations of the Diamond Products building and supported on high capacity pile caps.
- A service corridor runs directly along, but not touching, the light rail building.
- ERA designed a precast frame in-house using IPD.
- Bowl is part risers (precast stadia) and slab on grade.
- Lights on the club level are also integral to the structure. They are supported on steel columns and frames – connected to roof framing – and transferred down to the columns.
- The ballpark was completed in spring of 2015.
