Union Depot Lofts

Union Depot Lofts | Downtown St. Paul, MN

  • From the late 1800s until the 1970s, the Union Depot was a busy train station in the heart of downtown St. Paul, MN.
  • Amtrak moved its rail operations to Minneapolis in 1971 and closed the station.
  • It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1974, but it lay dormant until 2005 when renovations began to convert the upper floors into lofts condominiums with retail space below.
  • There are a total of 33 multi-level condominium units and a community rooftop party room and deck offering amazing views of the Mississippi River.
  • Christos Greek and Mediterranean Restaurant and The Boiler Room Coffee shop are located on the street level.
