• Expansion of the existing Vietnamese Buddhist Association of Minnesota Chua Phat An Temple in Roseville, MN. 
• The new temple was sandwiched in between three existing structures (two one story structures and a single two story structure). 
  
• In order for the basement to work, the footprint of the new building was constructed tight to the existing buildings which undermined the existing footings. 
  
• Soil stabilization was needed to support the existing buildings. 
  
• All three buildings had different floor elevations and limited drawings, so coordination between new/existing construction was very important. 
• The main temple was built out of all exposed Glulam columns/beams with a high ceiling. 
  
• Unique design/style of a Buddhist temple.
