ERA Hosts "Friday After College" Event

ERA Hosts "Friday After College" Event

ERA co-sponsored the ASCE Younger Members Group “Friday After College” event on Friday, June 17. This event allowed graduating civil engineering majors from the U of M to interact with young professionals in a relaxed atmosphere and learn about what ASCE has to offer. They started with drinks, snacks, and lawn games right in front of the Court International Building then headed west, stopping at several bars along the Green Line. From ERA, Rose Milavitz and Greg McCool were in attendance.

From the event organizers:

"Thank you for sponsoring the ASCE Younger Member Friday After College Event!

Friday After College had more than 60 attendees-most of them recent graduates and new to ASCE. Court International provided a great environment for students, new grads, and young professionals to meet in. The great conversation kept the group together through 3 stops on the Green Line.

This event had overwhelmingly positive feedback with all respondents to the follow up survey eager to attend another ASCE event.  This will give us a boost in membership in both ASCE and YMG and helps us grow our community. It was a great success and we couldn’t have done it without you!"
